God is Good.

May 1, 2001 President Obama announced to the world that Bin Laden was dead.  My twitter and facebook blew up with post about this mans death.  Still not really sure what to think or say about it.  I do know God is Good, Just, and Righteous!  Found this article by John Piper and thought it was interesting/enlightening:  CLICK HERE.  May we lift up those who are serving our country and not forgot the lives we have lost (9/11 and fighting overseas)!  Shout out to my cousin, Bryan, who is about to be deployed- praying for you man!!

Payton spent the day with Auntie Jo Jo!  They went to the park and played.  She loved the swings!  Joanna took this pic and I thought it was pretty cool!!

Five.Months.

Payton is now five months!  Ok, so I made this shirt (in a hurry) and then touched it before it was dry so that's why my letters look horrible.. But I never claim to be creative or good at that stuff!  

Current Favorites:  Sitting up, stuffed animals, oatmeal, being outside, being held, being on her back, tv (loves images that move), musical toys, her jumper thing and baths!

Current Dislikes:  Car seat, being on her tummy, high chair, naps (ugh, one of mommy's favorite things), and shoes.

Milestones this month:  She can now roll over and sit up by herself!  

She brings so much joy!!  We are so in love with our baby girl.  We can't wait till summer and all the fun times ahead.  Peace :)

He is Risen.

Easter is a time to meditate on the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior.  Christ was crucified and then rose again, defeating death!  He is alive and will one day return again.  Through the shedding of His blood, we can have everlasting life.  What an amazing gift He has given us!  To Him be all the glory!  Hope you got to spend the day with family and friends, rejoicing in the Lord and the new life we have in Him!!

4.7.2011-  Payton rolled over for the first time!!!  She hates to be on her stomach and she finally had enough of it and decided to roll over on her own.  Now, she won't stay on her stomach for longer than two seconds- the minute you put her on it she rolls over!!  This wasn't the very first time but close to it:
