My faith is the most important thing about me. I am a mess and don't always walk faithfully but I am redeemed and my God has saved me. I came to know the Lord at a young age and since then the Lord has continually been working on me. He is patient, kind, and always extending grace. His love is never failing, never ending, and bigger than anything on this earth. He has taken me from my sin and given me new life in Him. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I pray that my life would reflect His love and grace. I blog mainly so I can look back and see how God has used and blessed my life. I love to look back and see God's hand in my life- through the good and the bad through the big and the ordinary. I hope this blog is a venue that points to my Savior. If you have any questions I would love to answer them (laurenvanhoy@yahoo.com). Next to my faith, family is right there behind it. My family is amazing. They are my rock. They are not perfect but they love the Lord and encourage me in my faith. Each of them have challenged and pushed me to be better. My parents are giving, loving, and wonderful examples. Always guiding and leading us to Christ. My siblings are fun, encouraging, and always making me laugh. I am also blessed with great in laws. They have been so loving and supportive in our years dating and married. And they love our girls so well!! Jonny's mom went to be with the Lord in September of 2013. She was an amazing woman and had such a strong faith in God. Always giving of herself and loving her family and friends so well. We miss her every day and can't wait to see her one day in heaven.
