So I realized that I haven't taken any video of Pay Pay walking since she took her first steps almost a month ago so here are some videos I took today of Payton walking:

10 Months Old

Current Likes:  Walking!!!  Musical toys, being outside, opening and closing doors/cabinets, dropping toys in a bucket and then taking them out (repeating it over and over again), food, baths, playing catch and throw and taking walks.

Current Dislikes:  Being in a highchair/shopping cart for more than 20 minutes, things in her hair (and she now has figured out how to pull them out), getting out of the bath tub, being in the car and shoes.

Milestones:  She is walking EVERYWHERE.  The crawling is no more!  It is so cool to see her learn how to walk and try to balance.  She can stand up without holding onto anything too.  She is so curious and is very creative when she plays.  Every toy she plays with she trys to figure out how it works.  She is smart.

Stats:  Payton is 18 pounds and 12 ounces (25th percentile) and 29 inches long (75th percentile)!

Blessings :)

DIY

So me and Jonny LOVE watching the DIY network and HGTV.  Ever since we remodeled the kitchen- we love doing home projects and making our home better/cuter!  I am also currently addicted to Pinterest!  Lets just say I am glad I can't do all the things I pin or we would be broke lol.  And thankfully I can't get on it much as well!  I am definitely not the most creative person (anything cute thats in my house came from my mom) but I love how creative other people are and I like to try and recreate their projects.  Anyways... all this to say, I don't do much decorating DIY projects but here are some I have done in the past few weeks (and I am in no way great at it):

So there are a million "menu" boards on Pinterest... My pantry was already painted in Chalkboard paint and so I decided to add my own menu!  I really love how it turned out!!  And even better it was FREE!  On my fridge (which is next to the pantry) there is a dry erase board for our grocery list!

So I LOVE fall.  Football, coats, getting dark early, the smells, pumpkin spice lattes, and scarfs.  I have had my decorations out for 2 weeks.  I am so ready for cooler weather and the holidays to be approaching!  3 things:  1.  My plate display- I am going to put a seasonal plate up for every season.  2.  My door wreath- made it myself for under $20- just flowers, wreath, and letters painted red (all from hobby lobby).  3.  And my table centerpiece- got all my flowers 50% off at hobby lobby.
So our study has been a project ever since we moved in.  We are finally getting it to where we want it.  Just a few more touches and it will be perfect.  Bought the cute hutch at hobby lobby for 50% off.  I added the cork board, flowers and ribbon frame to the insides of the doors!!  I love it and its practical.

Blessings :)

Quick Update

Life seems to be going at 100mph and not slowing down anytime soon.  These past few weeks have been crazy busy that I feel like I have barely anytime to sleep let alone do anything else lol.  It's been a month of adjusting.  Working two part time jobs and being a full time mom has been exhausting but I LOVE it.  I really wouldn't have it any other way right now.  God is taking care of us and reminding me daily to find strength and joy in Him.  Tonight is the first one in awhile that I have been able to really sit down and blog or do whatever else leisurely.  So I am going to attempt to catch you up on our crazy life!  Payton is now 10.5 months (10 month post later).  She is walking EVERYWHERE.  She is such a busy and curious girl.  She loves opening and closing doors, playing with tupperware, being outside, and music.   I can't believe that her year birthday is right around the corner!  We are so blessed by our daughter and the joy she brings to our lives.  Jonny is busy with work- he works so hard and does his job so well.  I love him and so proud of the man he is!  I am busy working for my dad and YL.  I am finally getting into the swing of things and getting a good routine down (took a long time and many sleepless nights).   On top of work and home we are taking the Dave Ramsey's financial peace class!  It is great- really helping  us set a budget and get our finances in line.  We are also helping in the the preschool room at church on Sundays!  We love it.  Jonny does great with the kids and it's so neat to watch.  He leads the bible story and  totally rocks it!  We are enjoying our blessed life and are so excited for the times ahead!  Here are a few pics from the last few weeks.

Keith Urban Concert

So the last BIG concert (a concert that is not held in a coffee shop or bar) I went to was Nsync- yes NSYNC.  It was held at reunion arena (which is now torn down).  I was in Jr. High and I went with my best friend, Joanna.  I was the perfect definition of a fanatic.  I had t-shirts, posters covering my walls, every song/dance memorized, and even a Justin doll.   Yes, I was weird lol!  Anyways.... fast forward to now.  Our 3 year wedding anniversary was on the second and for a late gift, Jonny's parents bought us Keith Urban tickets!  I was so excited- I LOVE Keith Urban.  I think Jonny was more excited to get out of the house just the two of us than the concert itself.  But the concert was awesome.  We had great seats and we really really enjoyed Keith.  We were 3 rows up from the floor and at angle so we could sit down the whole time and see.  The people around us were older as well so they weren't screaming their heads off the whole time.  I would definitely recommend seeing him in concert!  Here are some pics of our lovely date night:
