DAY THIRTY:  I am thankful for my God!  Without Jesus life would have no meaning.  I am thankful for the MANY MANY MANY blessings He gives me.  I am thankful for the good and bad times!  God has given me life, hope, and many gifts!  

DAY TWENTY-NINE:  I am thankful for all the AMAZING people who watch Payton for free!!  Seriously, so many people watch our little girl and expect nothing to be given- it truly humbles and touches us!!  I work two part time jobs from home but some weeks I have to go into the office and I am thankful for people who give up their day to spend with our daughter.  And not only do they watch her but I know she is safe and protected with them!  Specifically, My mom and Aaron- you guys are amazing.  We love you and are SOOOO thankful for your heart to serve us!  And we are thankful for Stephanie and Stephen Rickels who love to watch our girl!!  Love yall!  THANKS!!!

DAY TWENTY-EIGHT:  I am thankful for Christmas Music because it makes me happy :)  I love all things Christmas!

DAY TWENTY-SEVEN:  I am thankful for all our little 4 year olds that we get teach on Sunday morning.  They make me happy every time I see them.  I love that me and Jonny get to serve together and teach these little youngsters about God's love.  They are great :)

DAY TWENTY-SIX:  I am thankful for the ability to capture memories!!  We took family pictures yesterday and I am grateful!  I love looking back on pictures and see how people have changed.  I also love scrap booking and sharing my photos :)

DAY TWENTY-FIVE:  I am thankful for good deals!  I didn't go anywhere for black friday shopping but I did get some good buys online!!  I am also thankful for online shopping :)  Jonny probably isn't thankful that though lol!

DAY TWENTY-FOUR:  I am thankful for my AMAZING HUBBY!!!!  I wanted to wait and do this post until now because Jonny turned 26 on Thanksgiving!  I am so very blessed with such a great man.  I love him because he:

1.  Loves the Lord and leads our household towards Him.  He challenges me and draws me closer to the Lord.

2.  Loves me and all my flaws and mess.

3.  Is an incredible father to Payton- seriously brings me so much joy to watch him and Payton!

4.  Works so hard and provides for our family.  He is the hardest worker I know!

5.  Always puts others before himself! 

6.  Makes me laugh more than anyone!

7.  Can be pretty goofy at times! 

8.  Adores me and loves me so much!

9.  Serves every sunday with 4 year olds!  

10.  And is so fine :)

DAY TWENTY-THREE:  I am thankful for my reliable car!  Me and Pay drove all over the place today.  pretty much from 11am-7pm!  I am thankful for a reliable car that gets me and my precious cargo from point A to point B safely!

DAY TWENTY-TWO:  I am thankful for lazy/rainy days.   Today is a get up late and stay in our pj's till noon kind of day!  I love days like today!  And thank-you Jesus for all the rain- it is much needed :)

DAY TWENTY-ONE:  I am thankful for nights in with my wonderful husband and beautiful daughter.  There is nothing I would rather do than sit at home and relax with my precious family.

DAY TWENTY:  I am thankful for word of God.  I am thankful that we live in a place where the bible is so available- we have more than 5 in our house.  I am thankful that we can know our Savior intimately through His precious word.  Thankful for its encouragement, hope, teaching, rebuking, correction, and parables.  


"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."  Hebrews 4:12

DAY NINETEEN:  I am thankful for trials.  In every trial there is good and wisdom.  I am thankful that I don't walk through the hard times alone.  God is always there to pull me through!  I am also thankful that one day there will be no more pain!  That the hard times in this life will someday be gone forever!  Thank-you Jesus for the gift of eternal life!

DAY EIGHTEEN:  I am thankful for technology.  Seriously, I don't know what I would do without it!  I am thankful I can keep up with friends and family that I never see through Skype and facebook!  I am grateful for smart phones that get me places (cause I am horrible with directions) and that let me take pictures, videos, and all kinds of fun stuff!  And technology beyond phones and computers!  I am thankful for doctors and all kinds of medicines!  We live in a blessed time!

DAY SEVENTEEN:  Well I should have waited to say I am thankful for A&M.  So I am just gonna say it twice :)  November 18, 1999 at 2:42 am twelve Aggies lost their lives when the bonfire collapsed.  As an Aggie, we will never forget the 12 that are gone.  Many prayers to the families of the loved ones lost.  I am thankful, however, that in the midst of tragedy I get to be a part of such an amazing University.  A University with tradition and spirit.  One that honors those who have passed before us.  I am thankful for things like Silver Taps and Muster.  I love everything about A&M!!  Thank-you God for such a great University and allowing me to be a part of it!  We are the Aggies- the Aggies are we!!!!

DAY SIXTEEN:  I am thankful for food and water.  The holidays approaching means lots and lots of food is on its way!  I am thankful that I have food to eat everyday and clean water to drink!  I am reminded often through media of people all over the world with no food and no clean water.  And you don't have to go far.  There are so many people homeless and starving right in the DFW.  May we find ways to help those who are in need this season!  Like giving to a local food pantry (Rush Creek has one), volunteering at a shelter, or sponsoring a child overseas!  What will you do to help??

DAY FIFTEEN:  I am thankful for my alma mater, A&M!!  Even though we don't win a lot of football games (and they make me wanna pull my hair out most games) I am so thankful that God provided the means for me to attend such an awesome place.  I loved my four years there so much and often miss sweet Aggieland.  I am thankful for the experiences (both good and bad) and the many friends I came to know through school.  It was my freshman year that God really grabbed a hold of me and began to work in my heart.  I grew and learned so much about my Saviour and how to love Him and others.  It was truly some of the best years of my life (aside from being a wife and mother(; )

DAY FOURTEEN:  I am thankful for my bed. haha its late and I am exhausted.  I am thankful I have a place to rest my head at night because there are many who don't.  Lord, help me be mindful of those who are hurting and may I pray daily for them and find ways to can help!
