Christmas Day

This Christmas was hard and not what we imagined it would look like.  Payton asked a lot about Nana and we missed her so much!  But we are so grateful that through the birth of our Savior came hope for the whole world. He is faithful, good, and our Salvation. And so through the pain and grief we rejoice. We rejoice in the birth of our Lord! And we are so very thankful for our families that are here!  Since I took a lot of photos I am gonna divide them up into separate posts.  See other posts for Christmas Eve and Christmas with the Van Hoys.  Christmas day was a great.  We woke up and spent the morning with just us and the girls.  It was quiet and wonderful.  We read the Christmas story and I made some cinnamon rolls- we had some good family time.  We didn't get much for the girls this year and it was so nice and calm.  And Payton was most excited about her tooth brush and underwear in her stocking than anything else haha.  And Kins just loved playing with the wrapping paper.  After we opened presents and slowly got dressed we went over to my parents.  We spent the day playing games, watching Christmas movies, and eating a bunch of good food!  My mom always works so hard and sets a beautiful Christmas meal up for everyone.  It was good :)
