Christmas Party

Last weekend Jonny had his Company Christmas party.  The company did extremely well this past year so we knew we were in for a great night!  Last year, his company also did very well and we ended coming home with a $300 camera in a gift exchange.  They gave away ipads, tvs, stereos, and many more fancy things last year.  Anyways... This year we all met at one of the owners house.  From there they rented a bus ("party bus") and took us to a fancy little Italian restaurant in Lewisville.  During dinner they went around and passed out $200 cash to every employee.  After dinner, they said they had a surprise.  We ended up in front of a best buy.  They told us that each employee had a $500 shopping spree.  It was amazing!  They had a little room set up with drinks and snacks.  We got $500 (plus the $200 cash) to spend on whatever we wanted.  It was quite a decision.  $500 is a big deal and we had no idea what to get.  We pretty much walked around for 30 minutes with our jaws dropped in awe of the situation.  We ended up with a dishwasher (ours had gone out days before this), 4-year warranty, mac computer charger, some xbox thing, flash drive, and some cds.  The dishwasher took up most of our money but it is well worth it :) (although it may be a bit boring)  After best buy, we came back to the owners home for dessert!  To top it all off, corporate gave everyone a $50 visa card!  Aside from the gifts (which was awesome) it was a wonderful night.  He works with some great people.  I love talking with all the wives and hanging out with people Jonny sees everyday.  We are blessed to be apart of such a great company who takes care of its employees.  AND we are BEYOND thankful for the great year single source had.  Many people don't have reason to celebrate when it comes to their jobs- so we are very grateful for such a great year!  Too bad I didn't take any pictures except this one....
