Thankful #5, #6, and #7

Seems I am a little behind on the thankful posts.  There is always something to be thankful for- even in dark and challenging seasons.  We are definitely in a challenging season and even through it all- God has given us so much.  He continues to let the blessing flow.  Joy and thankfulness is something that we can have in Christ- regardless of our circumstances.  Something that we should have not just a month or two out of the year- but everyday.  Because we know that pain and suffering are a part of life but God has purpose in it.  And all of the trials are for His glory and our good.  God never changes and will always be just and good.

Day Five:  I am so very thankful for my sister.  She is one of my best friends and I am so blessed by everything she does.  Our girls absolutely adore her.  She is a great wife, sister, aunt, and woman of God.  She blesses our lives more than she knows!

Day Six:  Thankful for my parents.  They have been such amazing examples to us kids.  They give so much to their kids and others.  Thankful for their Godly example over the course of my life.  They have spoken truth, love, and wisdom over my life.  (picture taken by Limelight San Antonio Photography)

Day Seven:  Thankful for our church.  We are thankful for a church who teaches biblical truth.  A church that provides a safe environment for our girls while teaching them about the love of our Savior.  A church who challenges our faith.  And a body of believers who support us, pray for us, and love on our family.  Thankful to call Rush Creek our home.
