State Fair

On Monday, my mom, Joanna, Maddie and I took Payton to the State Fair.  We were probably crazy to take her on Columbus Day but we braved the crowds.  And man was there crowds.  It was ridiculously crowded.  Maddie didn't have school and had some free tickets so we didn't have to pay hardly anything to get in.  It was Payton's first fair experience.  Apparently, I have been to the fair many times when I was little but I don't remember and there is no evidence of such trips lol.  So it was like my first time to go to the fair too.  Despite the crazy amounts of people, we had a great time.  We got there at 11- parking was super easy and the lines were so crazy just yet.  We stayed till about 3 which was the perfect amount of time.  And by the time we left, the lines were 4x longer than when we first arrived.  We saw the animals, cars, ate some fried food,  got cotton candy, and Payton even got to ride some rides!  Maddie was a trooper- she rode all 6 rides with Payton.  Payton LOVED the rides and kept asking for more!  The weather was perfect!  Such a fun afternoon!  We do wish daddy could have been there instead of working!
